Passenger Dies in Vehicle Crash on 1415 Descanso Avenue [San Marcos, CA]

San Marcos, CA (July 26, 2025) – A passenger was killed in a vehicle crash on 1415 Descanso Avenue Saturday morning

It was around 2 a.m. when the authorities received reports of a Nissan GTR that had flown off the Highway 78 into the yard of a nearby business, west of Las Posas Road.

Firefighters extricated two people from the vehicle .

Immediately, the rescuers rushed the driver to a trauma center with major injuries .

Rescuers also extricated to free the passenger from the vehicle and declared them deceased on scene.

CHP is investigating the cause of this traffic collision.
