Arlington, TX (July 28, 2026) — A motorcyclist lost his life, and his passenger was injured Saturday night following a collision on Avenue E involving an 18-wheeler.

According to the Arlington Police Department, the crash happened around 9:13 p.m. on Avenue E near Duncan Perry Road.

Investigators said the driver of the 18-wheeler was attempting to make a left turn from a store parking lot onto Avenue E when an eastbound motorcycle came around a curve and struck the side of the truck.
