Passenger Injured in I-35 Solo-Vehicle Crash [Austin, TX]

Austin, TX (April 23, 2026) – A passenger was hurt in an I-35 solo-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.

The vehicle crash happened at 5:30 a.m. near Riverside Drive.

APD said the passenger in the vehicle was ejected and sustained serious injuries. 

Rescuers took the passenger to a trauma center.

Meanwhile, police are still investigating if intoxication played a role in the collision.
