Bolivar Man Killed After Falling From Moving Vehicle in Polk County
Polk County, MO (December 15, 2025) — A 61-year-old man from Bolivar died Saturday night after a horrific accident on South 77th Road, where the victim fell from a moving vehicle.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the deadly incident happened around 8:40 p.m. on South 77th Road, approximately two miles west of Bolivar.
Troopers reported that the man was riding as a passenger in a maroon Dodge Caravan traveling northbound when he fell from the vehicle while it was in motion.
First responders pronounced the man dead at the scene. Authorities did not release details about the driver, and the circumstances leading up to the fall remain under investigation.
Officials noted that this marked Troop D’s 125th fatal crash of 2025.
