Lancaster, CA (January 20, 2025) On Saturday evening, a woman was killed after a frightening 2-car crash near Avenue J.

According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Lancaster Station, the fatal incident happened at about around 8 p.m. near Avenue J and 27th Street East.

Reports say that a two-vehicle crash in Lancaster claimed the life of a female passenger.

Authorities say that a gray sedan traveling northbound on 27th Street East, driven by another woman, collided with an eastbound green minivan while attempting to turn west onto Avenue J. The sedan’s passenger sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.
