Passengers Hurt in Horrific High-Speed Crash on Interstate 15 [Victorville, CA]

Victorville, CA (December 6, 2024) On Tuesday evening, multiple people were hurt after a horrific high-speed crash on Interstate 15.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the police pursuit in Victorville happened at about 11:50 p.m.

Reports say that the police chase ended with a violent rollover crash that hospitalized four people.

Authorities say that officers began pursuing a gray Jeep Cherokee SUV on southbound Interstate 15 for unspecified reasons. The driver lost control near Quarry Road, north of Stoddard Wells Road, causing the Jeep to roll multiple times off the freeway. All four occupants were ejected from the vehicle during the crash.

Emergency crews from the Victorville City Fire Department responded to the scene. Two victims were airlifted to a trauma center, while the other two were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.

Officers recovered several firearms believed to belong to the individuals in the vehicle. The CHP is investigating the incident and has not released additional information at this time.
