Driver Dies in Kansas City Solo-Vehicle Crash
Kansas City, MO (March 23, 2026) – Two passengers were injured following a deadly crash on Blue Ridge Boulevard Friday night.
The deadly crash happened at 8:25 p.m. at 46th Terrace.
Investigators said a silver Hyundai Sonata was speeding north on Blue Ridge Boulevard when it failed to negotiate a sharp curve and drove off the roadway.
The vehicle went north through the grass and overturned before catching a fire.
The driver, along with the front and rear passengers, were rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.
Troopers said the driver died and the passengers were in serious but stable condition.
