Patricia Montezuma Busso Killed in Rollover Crash on FM 1788 in Andrews County

Andrews County, TX (May 24, 2025) — 52-year-old Patricia Busso of Andrews lost her life Thursday morning following a rollover collision along FM 1788 and SE 8000 in Andrews County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Patricia Montezuma Busso was driving southbound on FM 1788 around 7:30 a.m. when another vehicle traveling northbound attempted to turn left in front of her.

Investigators identified the other driver as Dominic Rene Morales. Authorities said Morales failed to yield the right of way, causing his vehicle to collide with Busso’s vehicle. The impact caused Busso’s vehicle to overturn.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and pronounced Busso dead upon arrival.

Officials continue to investigate the fatal crash, and no further details have been released.
