Paul Pascual Junior Hurt in Fatal Anderson Crash [Anderson, CA]

Anderson, CA (June 23, 2025) — 77-year-old Paul Pascual Junior of Cottonwood was hurt, and a 25-year-old Anderson man lost his life in a head-on collision Sunday evening on Panorama Point Road near Anderson.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 7 p.m. south of Kimberly Road.

Investigators said a GMC Yukon traveling north crossed the double yellow lines and collided head-on with a Chevrolet pickup.

The impact caused the SUV to roll onto nearby railroad tracks, where it caught fire. The SUV driver died at the scene.

The pickup driver, identified as Pascual Junior, suffered major injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Authorities determined that drugs and alcohol were not factors in the collision. The crash remains under investigation.
