Paxton Rigdon and 3 Others Injured in Alarming 3-Vehicle Crash on Highway 28 [Quincy, WA]

4 People Hurt in Quincy Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 28

QUINCY, WA (August 27, 2025) – Monday afternoon, Paxton Rigdon and three other people sustained injuries in an alarming 3-vehicle crash on Highway 28.

The incident happened at around 3:30 p.m. on Highway 28.

According to the Washington State Patrol, an eastbound 2023 Toyota Tacoma veered right, overcorrected, crossed the center line, and collided with a westbound semi pulling two trailers. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Tacoma back into the eastbound lane, where it collided with a 2021 Nissan Kicks.

Moreover, responders transported the driver of the Tacoma, 25-year-old Rigdon, and the driver of the Nissan, 39-year-old Bhim Lalprajapati, to Confluence Health Hospital’s Central Campus with unknown injuries. Officers said that the driver of the semi, 46-year-old Jesus E De La Cerda Gara,y sustained no injuries in the incident.

Furthermore, paramedics transported two passengers of the Nissan, 38-year-old Anjana Shrestha and a 5-year-old child, to Confluence Health Hospital’s Central Campus with no injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the WSP continued investigating the crash.
