Pedestrian Accident on Avenue J Kills 1 [Lancaster, CA]

Lancaster, CA (July 16, 2025) – A tragic pedestrian accident on Avenue J just after midnight on Tuesday led to a person getting killed.

According to authorities, the fatal crash happened at the intersection with Kingtree Avenue.

Reports say that a man riding a Harley Davidson westbound on Avenue J hit a pedestrian who was crossing Kingtree Avenue.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the pedestrian dead. Officials have not yet released the victim’s identity. It remains unclear whether the motorcyclist sustained any injuries.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the circumstances of the crash. Authorities have not yet determined if speed, alcohol, or drugs contributed to the incident.
