Pedestrian Accident on Clinton Avenue Kills 1 [Fresno, CA]

Man Fatally Struck Twice by Vehicles in Fresno Hit-and-Run Incident

Fresno, CA (July 13, 2025) – A tragic pedestrian accident on Clinton Avenue on Friday night claimed the life of a pedestrian in his 50s after two separate vehicles struck him.

According to Fresno Police the fatal crash happened just before 11 p.m. near Marks and Valentine Avenues

Officers arrived at the scene and found the man lying in the westbound lanes of Marks Avenue. Officials pronounced teh victim dead at the scene.

Investigators believe the victim was first struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. A second vehicle hit him shortly after, but that driver stayed at the scene, cooperated fully with authorities, and showed no signs of impairment.

Due to the complexity of the incident, Fresno Police brought in their Collision Reconstruction Unit and Hit-and-Run detectives. The investigation remains ongoing as they review evidence and search for surveillance footage.
