At this time, officials have not released details regarding the condition of the pedestrian or the circumstances that led to the collision.
CBS LA anchor Kalyna Astrinos advised drivers to avoid the area and consider alternate routes, including the eastbound 210 Freeway, eastbound 60 Freeway, Valley Boulevard, or San Bernardino Avenue.
The incident remains under investigation, and authorities have not announced when the eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway will reopen.
Standing With Pedestrians and Families After Serious Freeway Accidents in San Bernardino County
Pedestrian accidents on high-speed freeways are among the most traumatic and devastating incidents on Southern California roadways.
When a person is struck by a vehicle, the consequences are often severe, leaving victims and their families facing overwhelming physical, emotional, and financial challenges. In moments like these, uncertainty can be just as painful as the injuries themselves.
At Sweet Lawyers, we recognize that pedestrians are uniquely vulnerable. Unlike drivers, they have no protection against the force of a moving vehicle. Injuries from these crashes can range from broken bones and head trauma to life-altering disabilities.
Families are often left with unanswered questions, mounting medical expenses, and concerns about how their lives will change moving forward.
Our firm approaches every pedestrian injury case with compassion, dignity, and care.
While we do not provide legal advice in times of crisis, we are committed to helping injured individuals and their loved ones understand available resources and feel supported throughout the recovery process.
We believe that accountability, transparency, and empathy matter — especially when someone’s life is suddenly disrupted.
