Pedestrian Killed in Westminster Hit-and-Run; Police Search for Second Driver
Westminster, CA (June 21, 2025) — Westminster police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run collision on Bolsa Avenue that claimed the life of a pedestrian Sunday night.
The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 9200 block of Bolsa Avenue. Investigators said the pedestrian was struck by two vehicles, and both drivers initially left the scene.
Authorities later located one of the drivers in Anaheim. Police stated that impairment does not appear to have played a role in the collision. Investigators are still searching for the second driver, who is believed to have been operating a newer-model blue or black Toyota RAV4.
Officials have not yet released the victim’s identity as they continue efforts to notify family members. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact Westminster police or Orange County Crime Stoppers.
Sweet Lawyers extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the victim. We hope they find strength and support as they cope with this tragic loss.
When a Fatal Accident Changes Life Forever
Losing a loved one in a sudden crash is devastating. The grief can feel overwhelming, and for many families, that emotional pain is compounded by unexpected financial pressures—medical bills, funeral expenses, and the loss of income or support your loved one once provided.
In moments like these, it’s important to know that you are not alone. A wrongful death claim can help families find a sense of justice and financial stability after an unimaginable loss. While no legal action can ever replace the person you’ve lost, it can provide accountability and help protect your family’s future.
Wrongful death claims can help families recover compensation for:
- Funeral and burial expenses
- Medical costs related to final care
- Lost income and future financial support
- Loss of companionship and emotional suffering
Beyond financial relief, pursuing a claim is often about accountability. Whether a crash was caused by distracted driving, speeding, or another form of negligence, holding the responsible party accountable can help bring closure and reduce the risk of similar tragedies happening to others.
At Sweet Lawyers, we understand how overwhelming this time can be. Our experienced wrongful death and personal injury attorneys have spent decades supporting families through some of life’s most difficult moments. We approach every case with care, respect, and a deep commitment to justice.
