Woman Killed After Being Found in Westbound Lane of I-14 in Killeen

Killeen, TX (July 24, 2026) — A 25-year-old woman died Wednesday night after an auto-pedestrian collision on Interstate 14 in Killeen.

Killeen police responded to reports of an auto-pedestrian collision around 10:43 p.m. and discovered the woman unresponsive in the roadway. Investigators believe she had been riding in another vehicle and either exited or was forced out while it was traveling westbound at highway speed.

Authorities said the woman was then struck by an Audi sedan. The Audi driver stopped immediately and remained at the scene, while other motorists assisted by helping prevent additional vehicles from hitting the victim.

Police have identified a potential suspect believed to have been driving the vehicle from which the woman exited or was ejected. The victim’s identity has not been released as officials continue notifying her family.
