Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Mission Avenue in Oceanside

Oceanside, CA (November 13, 2025) — A man died Monday evening after a pedestrian collision on Mission Avenue.

According to the Oceanside Police Department, the fatal crash happened at around 6:46 p.m. near Francesca Drive.

Officers responded to the scene and found the victim unresponsive after being hit by a black Chevrolet Tahoe traveling east on Mission Avenue.

Despite emergency responders’ efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities also confirmed that drugs or alcohol did not play a role in the crash.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin. Oceanside Police continue to investigate the fatal collision and urge anyone with information to contact their Major Accident Investigation Team at 760-435-4769.
