La Crescenta-Montrose, CA (August 17, 2025) – A man died Saturday night after a tragic pedestrian collision on Ocean View Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the frightening collision happened around 7:55 p.m. at Ocean View Boulevard and Mira Vista Avenue.

Reports say that a gold Mercury SUV hit the pedestrian in the unincorporated La Crescenta-Montrose area near Glendale.

Emergency crews transported the man to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
