Pedestrian Dies After August Crash in East Austin
Austin, TX (August 20, 2025) – 35-year-old Javar Quinton lost his life weeks after a horrific pedestrian crash on Airport Boulevard.
According to authorities, Quinton was struck by a vehicle earlier this month in East Austin. Police say that the collision happened around 12:30 p.m. on August 2 in the 2000 block of Airport Boulevard.
Authorities say that Quinton, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Despite medical care, he passed away on August 16.
The driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities continue to look into the crash.
