SAN ANTONIO, TX (November 15, 2025) – Thursday, a devastating pedestrian crash near 2300 Austin Highway near Perrin Beitel killed 1 person.

The incident happened just after 6:50 p.m. near the 2300 block of Austin Highway, near Perrin Beitel.

A preliminary SAPD report says a woman was using the crosswalk on Austin Highway when she was struck by several southbound vehicles. The driver of a Chrysler Pacifica stayed at the scene and tried to help her after hitting her.

Police say several other drivers also hit the woman but did not stop. If identified, they could face charges related to a fatal collision for failing to render aid.

Her name and the official cause and manner of death will be released by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office. At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
