1 Dead in Hayward Pedestrian Accident near Foothill Boulevard and B Street

HAYWARD, CA (February 11, 2026) – Saturday morning, a woman died in a devastating pedestrian crash near Foothill Boulevard and B Street.

The incident happened at around 6:40 a.m. near the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and B Street.

The coroner’s bureau is working to confirm the woman’s identity and notify her family before releasing her name. She is believed to be between 30 and 40 years old.

Police said she was walking in the middle of the roadway when a northbound sedan struck her on Foothill Boulevard. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.

The driver remained at the scene and provided a statement. Investigators said drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors. The crash remains under investigation.
