FORT COLLINS, CO (August 31, 2026) – Saturday morning, a horrific pedestrian crash on 100 West Mountain Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 11:45 a.m. in the 100 block of West Mountain Avenue.

According to reports, a Chevrolet pickup truck that was backing out of a parking spot collided with another vehicle. Then, the Chevrolet drove onto the sidewalk and struck multiple pedestrians before crashing into a tree.

Moreover, officers confirmed that a pedestrian died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported other victims to a hospital with unknown injuries.
