Frightening Pedestrian Crash on 12th Avenue Injures 2 [Seattle, WA]

Seattle, WA (June 3, 2025) — Two men suffered serious injuries after a frightening pedestrian crash on 12th Avenue South in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District late Sunday night.

Seattle police responded around 11:40 p.m. to the intersection of 12th Avenue South and South Jackson Street, where they found a 29-year-old man and a 36-year-old man injured on the ground.

Paramedics transported both victims to Harborview Medical Center. Authorities reported that one man remains in critical condition, while the other sustained serious injuries.

Investigators determined that a dark-colored vehicle was traveling west on Jackson Street when it crossed through the intersection, accelerated onto the sidewalk, and hit the two pedestrians. The driver then fled the scene without stopping.

Police continue to investigate the crash and are seeking information that could help identify the driver involved.
