Injuries Reported in Tyler Pedestrian Accident on 1400 East Gentry Parkway

TYLER, TX (February 10, 2026) – Wednesday afternoon, a devastating pedestrian crash on 1400 East Gentry Parkway killed a woman.

The incident involving a car and a pedestrian happened at around 3:45 p.m. in the 1400 block of East Gentry Parkway.

Tyler police said the woman who was struck was taken to a hospital, where she later died. The driver of the vehicle was also taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

All northbound and southbound lanes in the 1400 block of East Gentry Parkway were closed as officers and emergency crews worked in the roadway.

By 5:35 p.m., all lanes in the 1400 block of East Gentry Parkway had reopened.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
