1 Person Hospitalized in Poway Pedestrian Accident near Twin Peaks and Espola Road

POWAY, CA (November 9, 2025) – Friday morning, a startling pedestrian crash on 14100 Twin Peaks Road injured one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. in the 14100 block of Twin Peaks Road near Espola Road.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Station, a westbound vehicle struck a 12-year-old who ran across the roadway outside a marked crosswalk.

Moreover, responders rushed the boy to Rady Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Station continued investigating the crash.
