1 Person Hospitalized in Columbia Pedestrian Accident on 1700 Deans Creek Road

COLUMBIA, MO (April 22, 2026) – Monday night, a crippling pedestrian crash on 1700 Deans Creek Road injured one person.

The incident happened at the 1700 block of Deans Creek Road in Camden County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, officers said that a 33-year-old man attempted to stop a 2024 Polaris Ranger that was rolling down the hill. Then, the man was pinned between the Polaris and a parked 2015 Mazda 3.

Moreover, a private vehicle transported the man to Lake Regional Hospital with serious injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the MSHP continued investigating the crash.
