1 Dead in El Cerrito Pedestrian Accident on 1700 Eastshore Boulevard

EL CERRITO, CA (December 14, 2025) – Thursday morning, a 57-year-old woman died in a horrific pedestrian crash on 1700 Eastshore Boulevard.

The incident happened at about 5:40 a.m. in the 1700 block of Eastshore Boulevard.

El Cerrito police said early findings suggest the woman was crossing Eastshore Boulevard outside of a marked crosswalk when she was hit by a northbound vehicle. Paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Subaru stayed at the location and is cooperating with investigators. The incident remains under investigation.
