SAN YSIDRO, CA (December 1, 2025) – Sunday night, an alarming pedestrian crash on 200 East San Ysidro Boulevard injured one person.

The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. in the 200 block of East San Ysidro Boulevard.

According to reports, a westbound 2011 Jeep Liberty struck a pedestrian after exiting the freeway.

Moreover, responders rushed the 83-year-old pedestrian to a hospital with a pelvic fracture and a brain bleed.

Furthermore, officers do not believe that impairment played a role in the crash.
