SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 16, 2026) – Saturday night, a brutal pedestrian crash on 3800 North Loop 1604 East near Bulverde Road killed 1 person.

The crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle occurred at about 10:53 p.m. in the 3800 block of North Loop 1604 East near Bulverde Road.

Police said a vehicle was traveling eastbound on the access road and attempting to enter Loop 1604 when it struck a pedestrian walking along the roadway.

The driver remained at the scene, called emergency services, and cooperated with investigators, according to police.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene and has not yet been positively identified.
