SAN DIEGO, CA (August 4, 2025) – Sunday morning, a disastrous pedestrian crash on 4100 Sports Arena Boulevard injured one person.

The incident happened at around 3:22 a.m. at the 4100 block of Sports Arena Boulevard, near Point Loma.

According to the San Diego Police Department, a southbound 2015 Toyota Rav4 struck a male pedestrian who was crossing the roadway.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a hospital with critical injuries.

Furthermore, authorities do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
