1 Dead in Red Bluff Pedestrian Accident on 445 Antelope Boulevard

RED BLUFF, CA (September 17, 2026) – Monday afternoon, a 72-year-old Red Bluff woman died in a horrific pedestrian crash on 445 Antelope Boulevard.

The incident involving a semi-truck and a pedestrian happened at around 4:30 p.m. on 445 Antelope Boulevard.

A woman was killed after being struck by a semi-truck while attempting to cross Antelope Boulevard, according to authorities.

For unknown reasons, the woman attempted to cross southbound in front of the semi-truck. The truck driver applied the brakes and tried to stop but struck her.

An ambulance from St. Elizabeth’s Hospital was nearby and quickly transported the woman to the hospital. Despite efforts by first responders and hospital staff, she was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Authorities said alcohol, drugs, and speed do not appear to have been factors. The investigation remains ongoing.
