Glendale, AZ (September 18, 2026) — On Thursday morning, a woman suffered serious injuries after a pedestrian crash on 59th Avenue when a vehicle struck her.

Glendale police responded shortly after 5 a.m. to the area of 59th Avenue and Palmaire Avenue, just east of Grand Avenue. Officers found the woman injured in the roadway, and paramedics transported her to a hospital for treatment.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Police closed Palmaire Avenue in both directions, along with portions of 59th Avenue between Glendale and Myrtle Avenues, while they investigated the crash.
