Bakersfield, CA (June 10, 2025) — A man died after a pedestrian crash on California Avenue, where a pickup truck struck him Sunday afternoon.

Bakersfield police responded near the intersection of California Avenue and Union Avenue around 1:20 p.m. on June 7 following reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. Officers found the injured man, and paramedics transported him to a local hospital for treatment.
