Santa Paula Woman Arrested for Felony Hit-and-Run After Injuring Pedestrian
Santa Paula, CA (March 19, 2025) – A woman was hurt and hospitalized Monday morning after a frightening pedestrian crash on Harvard Boulevard.
According to the Santa Paula Police Department, the pedestrian accident happened at about 7:45 a.m. at Harvard Boulevard and Palm Avenue.
Reports say that police arrested a 39-year-old Santa Paula woman for the felony hit-and-run that left a female pedestrian injured on March 15.
Authorities say that a woman crossing Harvard Boulevard in a marked crosswalk was struck by a vehicle turning left from Palm Avenue.
The driver fled without stopping or reporting the crash. Emergency responders later transported the pedestrian to a hospital with moderate injuries.
Investigators identified the suspect using an automated license plate reader and arrested her on March 17 while she was driving the same damaged vehicle involved in the crash. Officers booked her into Ventura County Jail with bail set at $50,000. She is scheduled for arraignment on March 19.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities urge anyone with information to contact them at 805-826-6093.
