Moses Lake, WA (July 28, 2025) – A 73-year-old man died Friday night after a tragic pedestrian crash on Highway 171.

According to the Washington State Patrol, a car struck the victim while he was crossing Highway 171 near South Schneirla Street, shortly after 9 p.m.

Authorities say that the man attempted to cross the highway when a southbound vehicle hit him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
