Injuries Reported in St Louis County Pedestrian Accident on New Halls Ferry Road

ST LOUIS COUNTY, MO (September 17, 2026) – Tuesday night, a person was hospitalized after a startling pedestrian crash on New Halls Ferry Road.

The incident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. on New Halls Ferry Road near Dellwood, between Interstate 270 and Old Halls Ferry Road.

One person was injured after being struck by a vehicle on New Halls Ferry Road in Ferguson, according to police.

The crash happened in the 10700 block of New Halls Ferry Road. EMS transported the person to an area hospital for treatment, but their condition was not immediately known.

Both northbound and southbound lanes were closed for about an hour while investigators reconstructed the crash. Traffic was diverted to Old Halls Ferry during the closure.

All lanes reopened around 1:30 a.m. The Ferguson Police Department is investigating.
