MALIBU, CA (September 28, 2025) – Friday night, a devastating pedestrian crash on Pacific Coast Highway and Carbon Canyon Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 9:44 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway and Carbon Canyon Road.

According to reports, a vehicle struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a hospital where the patient was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was not suspected of impairment.

Meanwhile, the crash closed a stretch of PCH between Rambla Vista and Carbon Canyon. All lanes have long since reopened.
