San Diego, CA (May 5, 2024) On Friday evening, a pedestrian crash on Picador Boulevard left a 34-year-old man injured.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the auto-pedestrian collision happened at about 7:49 p.m. on the 1200 block of Picador Boulevard.

Reports say that a 2017 Dodge Ram pickup truck, driven by a 25-year-old man, struck a male pedestrian walking west across Picador Boulevard. Officials say that the Dodge was coming out of a parking lot in the Otay Mesa West neighborhood.

Officials say that the pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was rushed to UC San Diego Hospital.

Police are investigating the auto-pedestrian crash and have not released additional information at this time.
