According to authorities, a pedestrian, identified only as Marcus, was severely injured after the crash on Robinson Canyon Road between 10:45 p.m. on May 7 and 12:10 a.m. on May 8.

Reports say that a $5,000 cash reward is being offered for information that leads to identifying the vehicle or driver involved in the head-on hit-and-run that severely injured Marcus, an Omak resident.

Authorities believe Marcus was struck by a truck or SUV while walking along Robinson Canyon Road. The driver fled the scene without providing aid, leaving Marcus hospitalized in the ICU with severe injuries.

The family urges residents to check video footage from Robinson Canyon or Shumway Roads during that time frame. They also ask the community to be alert for vehicles with new front-end, hood, or windshield damage, drivers who stopped using their vehicle after May 7, claims of hitting an animal that night, or sudden changes in vehicle use.
