Pedestrian Fatally Struck While Crossing Street in San Gabriel

San Gabriel, CA (October 02, 2025) – A man died early Wednesday morning after a horrific pedestrian crash on Rosemead Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 1:55 a.m. at Rosemead Boulevard and Huntington Drive.

When officers arrived, they found the man on the roof of a Hyundai Ioniq. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said the victim was attempting to run across the lanes when the collision occurred. The woman driving the Hyundai stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The man’s identity has not been released, pending notification of his family. The crash remains under investigation by CHP Altadena.
