Los Angeles, CA (May 29, 2025) – A man in his 40s was injured early Wednesday morning after a horrific pedestrian crash on South Alvarado Street.

According to authorities, the frightening accident happened in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles, around 1:08 a.m.

Reports say that a vehicle struck a pedestrian sending the victim to the hospital.

Los Angeles police responded to the 500 block of South Alvarado Street near Sixth Street, close to MacArthur Park.

Officers found the injured man in the street, and Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported him to a hospital. His condition remains unknown. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
