Injuries Reported in Pasadena Pedestrian Accident on Spencer Highway near Burke
PASADENA, TX (June 11, 2025) – Tuesday, an alarming pedestrian crash on Spencer Highway injured 1 person.
The incident happened on Spencer Highway near Burke.
Pasadena police said a 52-year-old man was struck by a vehicle while assisting ducks across Spencer Highway. Several drivers had stopped to help the animals when the man was hit by a 44-year-old driver.
The victim was flown to the hospital for treatment. As of now, no charges have been filed.
Officials stated the mother duck was killed, but the ducklings were taken in by the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
