Pedestrian Crash on State Route 170 Led to Injury [Grant County, WA]

Grant County, WA (June 10, 2025) — A 33-year-old pedestrian sustained injuries after a shocking crash on State Route 170 early Sunday morning.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened around 2:48 a.m. near milepost 40.

Investigators said a pedestrian was walking in the southbound lane when a vehicle driven by a 49-year-old motorist struck them.

Emergency responders transported the injured pedestrian to Samaritan Hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released additional details regarding the severity of the injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
