Fatal Hit-and-Run in Studio City Leaves Pedestrian Dead

Los Angeles, CA (December 25, 2025) — On Tuesday morning, a deadly hit-and-run crash on Ventura Boulevard claimed the life of a pedestrian.

According to authorities, the collision happened around 5:44 a.m. in the 12900 block of Ventura Boulevard near Coldwater Canyon Avenue.

Investigators determined that an SUV traveling eastbound struck the pedestrian while he was crossing the street.

After the initial impact, a second eastbound vehicle ran over the victim while he was on the roadway and also left the area.

Authorities described one of the suspect vehicles as a black Toyota RAV4 that continued east on Ventura Boulevard before turning onto Van Noord Avenue. The pedestrian, believed to be a man in his late 40s, died at the scene.

Police continue to investigate the incident and search for the drivers involved.
