SANTA PAULA, CA (September 29, 2025) – Saturday morning, a devastating pedestrian crash on West Telegraph Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened just before 8:30 a.m. in the 14100 block of West Telegraph Road.

A pedestrian died after being struck by a truck in an agricultural area.

Ventura County Fire Department spokesman Andrew Dowd said crews were dispatched and found a man with severe injuries in critical condition.

While paramedics were transporting him to the hospital, he went into cardiac arrest.

Crews continued lifesaving efforts until they arrived at the hospital.

The man was later pronounced dead. His identity has not yet been released.

Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
