SANTA ANA, CA (February 21, 2023) – Monday morning, a pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash on First and Figueroa Street.
The incident happened at around 3:20 a.m. at the intersection of First and Figueroa Street.
According to reports, an eastbound vehicle struck a male pedestrian who was in the eastbound lanes of the roadway for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle fled the scene after the collision.
Moreover, the Orange County Fire Authority pronounced the victim, dead at the scene.
Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest a suspect at a residence. Also, authorities believe that alcohol played a major role in the crash.
