Pedestrian Dead in I-35 Vehicle Collision [Austin, TX]

Austin, TX (June 21, 2025) – A pedestrian was killed in an I-35 vehicle collision Friday morning.

The authorities responded around 2:35 a.m. to the collision at the intersection of the 4100 block of S Interstate 35 and the 1600 block of East Ben White Boulevard service road.

Officers said they received a report about someone was hurt in a collision with a motor vehicle. However, responding officers did not find any vehicle at the crash scene.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where he was declared deceased.

The APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit is investigating this incident as a collision involving death.
