Pedestrian Dead in Metro Bus Crash on N Holmes Road [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (December 13, 2025) – A pedestrian was fatally injured following a Metro bus crash on N Holmes Road early Friday morning.

It was around 4 a.m. when the collision happened near Hiram Clarke Road in Southwest Houston.

Troopers said the bus was westbound on Holmes Road for a routine road test when a victim walked into the roadway. 

The bus driver wasn’t able to stop and struck the pedestrian.

Immediately, the pedestrian was transported to a hospital, but was later declared dead.
