Pedestrian Dead in Traffic Crash on Seventh Street [Long Beach, CA]

Long Beach Deadly Crash Under Investigation

Long Beach, CA (February 20, 2026) – A pedestrian was killed in a traffic crash on Seventh Street Wednesday night.

The deadly traffic accident happened before 11 p.m. at the intersection with Dawson Street.

Police said an eastbound 2007 Toyota Tundra on the No. 2 lane of Seventh Street struck a pedestrian who just entered the roadway.

Immediately, the pedestrian was rushed to an area hospital where they died.

Moreover, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police, and they determined that speed as a factor in the collision.
