Lubbock, TX (August 26, 2025) – A person was killed in a W Loop 289 Access Road accident early Sunday morning.

The authorities received around 1:38 a.m. a report involving a pedestrian.

Immediately, the rescuers responded to the scene and found the victim on the road. They rushed the pedestrian to UMC with serious injuries.

Sadly, the authorities confirmed that the pedestrian has died.
