Pedestrian Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Silver Avenue [San Francisco, CA]

San Francisco, CA (January 5, 2024) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Silver Avenue Saturday.

The authorities responded to a traffic report at the intersection with Colby Street and located the victim on the ground with life-threatening injuries.

Immediately, the rescuers provided aid but the pedestrian died at the scene.

The suspect driver fled the scene right after the collision.

SFPD asked anyone with details on this fatal crash to call 415-575-4444 or text a Tip to TIP411, starting the message with “SFPD.”
